Welcome! My name is Anna, and it is my privilege to provide neurodiversity-affirming assessments and therapy. In a world that is designed for neurotypical people, the life of a neurodivergent person can be particularly challenging. Although life is tough, I believe you have incredible strengths and insights which have led you to seek support for yourself. Starting therapy can bring up a lot of different feelings - I have heard it described as sitting in the 'mud' of emotions! It's certainly not easy and not fun for neurodivergent people to have to try and get themselves out of this 'mud' of emotion that has built up over a lifetime of masking and not fitting in. I will validate your experiences and feelings - because so many neurodivergent people have been through similarly tough experiences.
