Catherine Vu
Hello! I'm Catherine, and I'm so glad you're here. I know life can be really tough sometimes, especially when you're trying to navigate burnout or overwhelming meltdowns and shutdowns. I'm here to help you through it all with kindness and understanding. You might be dealing with low self-esteem, anxiety in large social settings, feeling overwhelmed by crowds, or struggling with small talk despite having so much to say about things that matter to you. Maybe you've always felt different and found it hard to fit in, which can be exhausting. I want to reassure you that it's going to be okay. We can talk about how your neurodivergent traits are strengths and how to handle societal expectations without losing sight of who you are. I especially enjoy working with people who are also living with chronic physical conditions and illnesses (fellow spoonies!). As a spoonie myself, I understand the unique challenges of navigating life with never enough spoons, and I'm here to support you on that journey. Take care, and I hope to hear from you soon.

What will sessions look like?
We'll look at the stressors and triggers that make things hard for you, and we'll find ways to cope that really work for you. It's so important to take care of yourself, set healthy boundaries, and have good stress-management practices. You deserve to feel balanced and in control. I want you to know that it's perfectly okay to identify as neurodivergent, even if you're still figuring out what that means for you. It's normal to feel conflicted about identifying as neurodivergent, especially if you don't have a formal diagnosis and can often 'pass' as neurotypical. But your feelings are valid, and your experiences are real. I'll help you find support and resources within neurodiversity-affirming communities and peer networks where you can connect with others who truly understand what you're going through.

-
Our family farm - I love everything about our small slice of heaven, even our bossy nanny cow (you know who you are Abigail), and Houdini, who is an expert at escaping paddocks!
-
Striving for a self-sufficient, sustainable lifestyle, whilst living in tune with nature
-
Nurturing my inner child through LEGO, gaming, Anime ... and much more
-
Hearing a catchy song and immediately trying to work out whether I can recreate it on the piano or guitar
-
Watching documentaries until 2am in the morning before realising how far down the rabbit hole I have gone
-
If it wasn't for one too many hobbies, I would also love to dabble in astronomy, watercolour painting and pottery. They're still on the bucket list though!

Here are 3 things I believe with all of my heart to be true:
