Nicolle Griffin

Psychologist

I have been a Registered Psychologist for 15 years and a neurodivergent person since birth - however - like many adults, my neurodivergence was not recognised until adulthood. I enjoy working with other late identified neurodivergent adults to help you better understand all the parts of yourself you have been masking, or, that you're not even aware of yet.

Some of the things that make me 'me'

Other people may describe me as:

Authentic neurodivergent life

During our work together we will weave our way through all aspects of living an authentic neurodivergent life. This may include adjusting to a diagnosis, learning to un-mask, understanding your sensory needs, the importance of fidgeting, stimming & movement breaks, developing better boundaries, recovering from burnout and dealing with the stress of carrying the motherlode (doing everything and still feeling guilty about not doing enough). We will get you to a point of self-compassion and acceptance - even if that feels very far away right now.

Spoonies

I particularly like working with neurodivergent people who are living with chronic physical & mental health conditions and illnesses (spoonies!) to assist you on your journey of never-enough-spoons. Whether your metaphorical cutlery drawer is limited by chronic physical illness or pain, major mental illness and/or complex trauma, we will work out how to get your needs met and how to live life alongside chronic conditions.
