Psychologist

Dr. Cristina Cavezza

Do you sometimes feel like you’re not quite in sync with the world around you? Or perhaps you’re searching for a clearer understanding of your life, both past and present. I’m Cristina, and I’m here to help you find your place and bring the big picture into focus. I understand the feeling of being different or misunderstood – it’s something I’ve seen a lot in my practice. But you know what? Those unique qualities are what make you who you are, and that’s absolutely amazing!  We don't need to get hung up on labels that bring us down. My assessment approach is focused on uncovering your strengths, passions, and desires while acknowledging your needs.

Some of the things that make me 'me':

Other people may describe me as:

How will I help you?

I know having an assessment can sometimes be a bit daunting, but don't worry, I'm here to listen and help you sort through your thoughts, someone who’s here to listen, understand, and help you sort through your thoughts over a cozy cup of coffee. So, let’s grab our mugs, get comfy, and explore while addressing the challenges you might face, like sensory overload and burnout. We'll find ways to make life more manageable and enjoyable for the wonderful person you are.

I'm here to help you balance work and personal responsibilities while building your self-esteem and confidence. I understand the feelings of frustration and exhaustion that come with juggling responsibilities and not experiencing the level of outward success you desire. But fear not! We can team up to create strategies that will help you reach your goals and discover fulfillment in your life. I am dedicated to supporting women like you who are navigating life’s challenges while managing self-doubt and confidence issues. You may have always felt a little different from others, wondering what's "wrong" with you, and suspect that neurodivergency might explain some of the difficulties you've faced. While you may not have received a formal confirmation (yet!), it's worth exploring if neurodivergency could shed light on some of the challenges you've faced. Understanding yourself better can be so empowering and can pave the way for greater self-acceptance and growth. Are you willing to explore that possibility with me?

When I’m not busy parenting or working (yes, I know sometimes parenting feels like HARD work!), you can find me at the gym lifting weights, reading a book, socialising with friends, or experimenting in the kitchen with plant-based dessert recipes.

Here are 3 things I believe with all of my heart to be true:

  1. To promote the well-being of both our planet and all its inhabitants, I believe we need to extend our compassion to all animals.

  2. I think it's far more important to be consistent than perfect,

  3. With regards to relationships, I believe quality matters more than quantity.
