Beth McNamara

Senior Psychologist

Welcome! My name is Beth, and I am a psychologist who focuses on working with neurodivergent young adults, teens, and kids, particularly those who identify as gender diverse or LGBTQIA+. As a teenager, life can be hard and confusing. You may be struggling with self-esteem, figuring out your identity, or dealing with changes in your life. I understand that these issues can make you feel lost and overwhelmed. Whether you’ve experienced trauma, are facing friendship issues, or simply want to understand yourself better, I’m here to help.

Here are some things that make me 'me'

What will our sessions look like?

My main aim is to create a welcoming and supportive environment where you can freely express yourself and feel truly understood. We'll work together to delve into your emotions, thoughts, and strengths in order to boost your confidence and resilience. I strongly believe in a well-rounded approach that values your unique experiences and promotes self-acceptance. I understand that you've been doing your best to navigate your surroundings, and my goal is to assist you in finding healthier ways to cope with your emotions and thrive in your life. Being different is perfectly fine, and I'm here to help you discover your own path. We will explore proactive strategies for managing burnout, meltdowns, and shutdowns. My hope is that through our work together, you will leave with the skills, tools, and knowledge you need to thrive and independently deal with whatever comes your way.
